GTA 6 system requirements

What GTA 6 runs on: PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only, no PC version. How much space you need and why PC requirement charts online should be treated with caution.

Platforms

GTA 6 launches on 19 November 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar lists only these consoles: no PS4 or Xbox One version has been announced.

Is there a PC version

No. A PC version has not been announced or dated, so official PC system requirements do not exist. CPU and GPU charts circulating online are guesses, not Rockstar data.

Storage space

According to Rockstar, the pre-load file takes up to 212 GB depending on the console. PlayStation Blog advises clearing at least 212 GB on PS5. If space is tight, consider expanding storage in advance.

PS5 Pro

PlayStation lists PS5 Pro among the consoles you can play GTA 6 on. Rockstar has not detailed any PS5 Pro specific graphics modes yet.

Internet

The game is single-player at launch, but the digital version and pre-load need an internet connection: the game has to be downloaded, and boxed copies contain a download code rather than a disc.
